The Perch Pinhole Camera

(but you can use any 1/2 to 1 liter can you can find )

What to do ?

1.  Paint the can inside with black paint .... do not forget the lid
... let it dry as long time as possible.
2. make a hole about 1 cm ( 1/2 inch) half op from the bottom .
3. go and by 100 sheets of Ilford Multigrade Photographic paper  3 1/2 x 5 inch (8.9x12,7 Cm)
3. Make a good pinhole:
Look here  . Try to make the hole not bigger than 0.4 mm
4. determine the focal length and take a look at
Mr. Pinhole's website, there you can do all the calculations you want. Do not forget to make at shutter to put over the hole.
5. Go to your darkroom and load a sheet of photographic paper into the can-pinhole camera.
6. Go shooting. Try to determine the shooting length by experiments. Sunlight is about 2 -3 sec. Cloudy wether up to 10 min.
7. Develop your paper. It is a negative. Let i dry completely. And use your scanner and turn the negative to a positive.
